When I was a child my father, who was an aeronautical engineer, taught me all about the weather. Apparently, at the ripe old age of 4, I, with much disdain, schooled one of his colleagues in what the difference was between a cumulus cloud and a cumulonimbus. You've gotta love a precocious child!

Since then I have grown to love all things weather but my greatest love is severe weather. Thunderstorms, supercells, lightning and tornadoes. I have been to the States twice to chase the beastliest storms on the planet and will go again once we are able to travel overseas. Meanwhile, you will find me wherever the bad weather is down here.
