When I was a child my father, who was an aeronautical engineer, taught me all about the weather. Apparently, at the ripe old age of 4, I, with much disdain, schooled one of his colleagues in what the difference was between a cumulus cloud and a cumulonimbus. You've gotta love a precocious child!
Since then I have grown to love all things weather but my greatest love is severe weather. Thunderstorms, supercells, lightning and tornadoes. I have been to the States twice to chase the beastliest storms on the planet and will go again once we are able to travel overseas. Meanwhile, you will find me wherever the bad weather is down here.
Being able to combine my love of storms with my love of photography is awesome. I recently became the first Australian member of the Extreme Weather Club. There you can check out some more of my storm photography and also purchase a print or a canvas (or face mask!) if you see something you think would look awesome on your wall (or face!).
If you would like to talk to me directly about seeing more of my storm photography, please give me a hoy!
